Patent, called Fuel Cell Systems to Power Portable Computing Devices and Fuel Cell System Coupled to a Portable Computing Device, known to have been registered in October 2010.
"Hydrogen fuel cells have a number of advantages. One of them allows the operation of electronic devices for days and even up to a week without recharging again," wrote Apple in the patent.
In the patent description, Apple also describes the public desire for technology companies to explore energy resources that can be updated and the leave the dependence on fuels that are not environmentally friendly.
